Graffiti – aber ohne klassische Spraydose?
In diesem Ferienworkshop erforschen wir kreative Alternativen zwischen Street Art, Naturmaterialien und experimenteller Gestaltung.
Am ersten Tag schauen wir uns zunächst an, womit Graffiti normalerweise entsteht: der Spraydose. Gemeinsam probieren wir Stencil-Techniken mit handelsüblichen Dosen aus, experimentieren mit Schablonen, Formen und Schriftzügen und beschäftigen uns mit den Möglichkeiten – aber auch den Auswirkungen klassischer Sprühfarben.
Ab Tag 2 richten wir den Blick auf natürliche Alternativen: Wir stellen Eco-Tinten aus Pflanzen und Naturmaterialien her, testen unterschiedliche Auftragstechniken und experimentieren mit Farbe, Oberfläche und Materialität. Schritt für Schritt entwickeln wir eigene wasserfeste Naturlacke und erforschen, wie nachhaltigere Formen von urbaner Gestaltung aussehen können.
Zum Abschluss gestalten wir gemeinsam die Fläche vor der Werkstatt neu und verwandeln sie in ein sichtbares Zeichen kreativer Mitgestaltung.

Summer Holiday Program at the Drin’n’Drauszen Workshop
Graffiti—but without the classic spray can? In this holiday workshop, we will explore creative alternatives situated between street art, natural materials, and experimental design.
On the first day, we will begin by examining the tool typically used to create graffiti: the spray can. Together, we will try out stenciling techniques using standard commercial cans, experiment with stencils, shapes, and lettering, and explore the possibilities—as well as the environmental impact—of classic spray paints.
From Day 2 onwards, we will shift our focus to natural alternatives: We will produce “eco-inks” using plants and natural materials, test various application techniques, and experiment with color, surface textures, and materiality. Step by step, we will develop our own waterproof natural varnishes and explore what more sustainable forms of urban design might look like. To conclude the workshop, we will collectively redesign the area in front of the workshop space, transforming it into a visible symbol of creative collaboration.
